What’s New: From Jewelry Design to Hand Bags

I seem to have this creative itch begging for expression. I think there’s something really magical about being able to create things from scratch. Maybe that’s why I decided to start exploring again by going back to my first love, fabric hand bags. Recently, I embarked on an adventure experimenting with African fabrics and Italian leather.

What I came up with was a custom bag made using hand made Mud cloth from Mali, and genuine Italian leather. This turned out to be a very successful experiment indeed, as the bag was purchased not long after. Needless to say, I’ve already started working on new designs…

Updates at Designed and Custom Made by Edith

My new collection of jewelry and hand bags is ready just in time for Christmas shopping. For the bags, I’ve done a lot with classic colors like black, earthy colors like brown, and I’ve also added a sprinkle of grays here and there for interest.

With the jewelry, I’m still struggling to keep up with Pantone, but I think you’ll see some very interesting colors on display. The trend for jewelry this year is big, bold and chunky, so you might also find it interesting to know a little about the stones that I’ve used for this collection.

Eco-jewelry is also making waves in the jewelry industry. Companies like Green Karat and Brilliant Earth are some of the leading companies in this area. If you are interested to find out more, check out the url: https://beyond4cs.com/reviews/brilliant-earth/

Merry Christmas!

I’m making room for my fall collection so for the next two weeks I’ll be offering discounts on selected items of jewelry. Check back often because you’re favorite item might just be on sale.
